They gathered First Nations from all over the US, Canada and overseas to come together and they stood with prayer to protect the water and the land. The government and the corporation Energy Transfer, along with the Koch brothers were in violation of the treaties on the land. They desecrated the buriel sites in order to lay the pipeline and 13,000 First Nations people gathered together to stand with their treaties. Every nation that came, brought their flag and they stood together in solidarity to stop the pipeline.
